Our Mission

Abundant Horizons mission is very simple; To provide a home away from home for children and their families. We are here to provide real life experiences for children so that each child may build their self confidence, independence, curiosity, motivation, persistence, self control, cooperation, empathy and the ability to communicate.

Our program includes opportunities for children to have long periods of uninterrupted free time with minimal restrictions. During this time they will be able to play in the dress up area, block area, music area, sand/water/art area or curl up in the reading area. Outdoor time is vital to children's development and this will be offered as often as possible weather permitting. In addition, our staff will be using sign language with the children as we know this allows many children to communicate their needs before verbal language is developed and strengthens verbal language skills at the same time.

As a partner in your child's care, we will make every effort to keep the lines of communication open. Our communication with you is as important as our daily interaction with your child(ren). You are welcome to visit and/or participate in our facility at any time. Abundant Horizons has provided a welcome center that has information and resources that may be of interest to you.
